Midday

Depart: Late morning / early afternoon

Duration: ~2 hours

Price: $70 per person

Midday paddles tend to feel open and social, with bright light, wide views, and time to move along the shoreline at an easy, conversational pace.

Last Light

Depart: Evening, timed to sunset

Long western sightlines, color held low on the water, and Ashland’s unique ability to catch light late into the day. This is the most requested trip.

Meet your guide

Hey! I'm Trevor

I’ve guided both expedition-style trips and tourism-focused paddles in Alaska, working with groups that ranged from small teams to trips with more than 30 people on the water at once. What experience taught me is simple: the trips people remember most aren’t the biggest or the busiest. They’re the smaller ones — where pacing matters, decisions are deliberate, and there’s room to actually experience the place you’re in.That’s the approach here. Small groups by design, guided with judgment shaped by time on big water, and run with the intention of keeping things calm, safe, and unhurried on Lake Superior.
